What is StarsTraders?
StarsTraders is an independent trading tools platform built on top of the Deriv API. It gives traders a clean, simple interface to access Deriv's markets, run automated strategies, and track their results — without needing to navigate a complex professional trading terminal.
We are a Deriv affiliate partner. This means that when you create a Deriv account through our platform, we earn a commission from Deriv's trading activity — at no additional cost to you.
What are the trading bots?
The trading bots are automated strategies that connect to your Deriv account and execute trades on your behalf based on simple rules.
Every bot runs in demo mode by default, using virtual funds. You must manually enable live trading in each bot's settings before any real money is used. You can stop any bot at any time with a single click.
The bots are not financial advisors. They are simple algorithmic tools that follow rules — they can win, and they can lose. Past performance of any strategy does not guarantee future results.
How does the Deriv connection work?
When you click 'Connect Deriv Account', you are redirected to Deriv's own login page. You log in directly on Deriv's system. We never see or store your Deriv password.
After you log in, Deriv redirects you back to this platform with a short-lived session token. That token is stored only in your browser's session storage and is cleared when you close the tab.
This is the standard OAuth 2.0 protocol, the same approach used by apps like 'Log in with Google'.
The affiliate relationship
StarsTraders participates in the Deriv Partner Programme. When you create a new Deriv account through a link on this website, that account is tagged to our partner profile.
Deriv pays us a commission based on the trading activity of referred clients. This does not affect your fees, spreads, or the service you receive from Deriv in any way.
If you already have a Deriv account, you can still connect it to use the trading tools. In that case, no new referral is created.
